Getting started
From empty workspace to live insights in four steps.
Firebeam turns the work data you already have (Jira, GitHub, Linear and your analytics tools) into delivery insights. Nothing needs to be tracked by hand: you connect a source, group it into a project, and the modules read from there. This page walks through the recommended first steps.
1. Connect a tracker
Go to Integrations and connect Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Linear. Firebeam syncs your work items and their history in the background. The connection is read-only for your source data, so nothing in your tracker is modified.
2. Create a project
Under Projects, create a project and link one or more tracker sources to it (a Jira project, a GitHub repository or milestone, a Linear team). Projects are the lens every module looks through: the active project selected in the sidebar decides what you see.
3. Activate modules
On the dashboard, activate the modules you want to use. Which modules are available depends on your plan; inactive ones show a card explaining what they do. Every module works from the same synced data, so there is no extra setup per module.
4. Invite your team
Under Team, invite colleagues by email. Admins manage integrations, projects, billing and members; members use the modules. You can optionally restrict a member to specific projects or modules.
The onboarding checklist
The dashboard shows a Get started checklist covering exactly these steps: connect a tracker, create a project, see your FlowLens board, activate a module. Each entry links straight to the right page and ticks itself off as you complete it.
No integrations yet? Use sample data
If you want to explore first, load the sample dataset from the dashboard. It fills every module with a realistic demo project (no integrations needed) and can be removed again with one click. While it is loaded, a Demo workspace badge is shown in the top bar.
