Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of Firebeam. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them — this page states them in plain language.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Service form an agreement between the company or organization you represent ("you", "customer") and Mindpillar AB (Swedish company reg. no. 559546-6102), which operates Firebeam ("Firebeam", "we"). If you sign up on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these terms.
2. The service
Firebeam is a project-intelligence platform: it connects to tools you authorize (such as Jira, GitHub, Linear, Slack and analytics providers), analyzes the synced data, and produces insights and AI-generated content such as reports, forecasts and summaries.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You need an account to use Firebeam. Keep your credentials confidential and let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Workspace administrators control who is invited to a workspace and what they can access; you are responsible for the access decisions made by your administrators.
4. Trials and plans
New workspaces may include a free trial, with the length and conditions shown at signup. Paid plans differ in included modules, seats, projects and monthly AI-action allowances; the current inclusions and limits are always the ones shown on the pricing page and on your billing page — those in-product statements take precedence over any cached or third-party copy.
5. Billing and payments
Payments are processed by Paddle, acting as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annual) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and access continues until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law; see our Refund Policy.
6. Your data
You own your data. This includes the work items and history synced from your connected tools, the content your team creates in Firebeam, and the outputs generated for you. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and display that data in order to provide the service — nothing more. Data processing on your behalf is governed by our Data Processing Agreement.
7. Integrations
When you connect a third-party tool, you authorize Firebeam to access it on your behalf within the scopes shown in that provider's consent screen. Your use of those tools remains governed by their own terms. You can disconnect an integration at any time, which stops further syncing and invalidates the stored tokens.
8. AI-generated content
Parts of the service generate content using large language models — reports, change requests, retro analyses, forecasts and similar. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or misleading, and is provided as a draft for your review. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it or sending it to others. AI generations count toward your plan's monthly allowance. By default, AI features use models hosted in the EU. Administrators can choose models hosted outside the EU under Settings; your data is then processed outside the EU for AI features.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Firebeam to break the law, infringe others' rights, probe or disrupt the service's security, resell access without our agreement, or process data you have no right to process. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Firebeam available and fast, but the service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees unless agreed separately in writing. We continuously improve the product and may add, change or retire features; if we retire something material, we will give reasonable notice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Termination and data export
You can stop using Firebeam and delete your workspace at any time. On termination, module access ends and your data is deleted in accordance with our retention practice described in the Privacy Policy. Where your plan includes it, you can export your workspace data before deleting.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and law evolve. For material changes we will notify workspace administrators in advance by email or in the product. Continued use after a change takes effect means acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, unless mandatory law in your country provides otherwise.
