Ask Firebeam
Ask about your projects in plain language, answered from your own data.
Ask Firebeam answers questions about delivery across your projects: which project needs you first, what is blocking work, what to tell stakeholders this week. Answers are written only from your workspace's own data: forecasts, scope health, blocked and stalled work, recent signals, open retro actions and the latest stakeholder report. It never uses outside knowledge about your company, and it only sees the projects you can open.
What you can ask
Anything about the state of delivery: priorities ("which project needs my attention first?"), problems ("what is blocking our work right now?", "which work has stalled, and who owns it?"), and communication ("summarise this week for my stakeholders"). The starter questions on the page are a good way in.
Where the answers come from
Before answering, Firebeam gathers a compact snapshot of your workspace: the portfolio numbers, blocked and stalled tickets, signals from the last two weeks, open retro actions and the latest report. The answer is written from that snapshot only, so if something isn't in your connected data, Ask Firebeam says so instead of guessing.
Follow-up questions
Ask Firebeam remembers the last few turns of the conversation, so you can follow up with "and what about Atlas?" or "make that shorter" without repeating the context.
Asking from the toolbox
The toolbox on the Dashboard, Portfolio and Assignments pages has an Ask Firebeam box with two starter questions. Asking there takes you to the Ask page with the answer on its way.
Your recent questions
On the Ask page, the toolbox lists your last ten questions. Click one to ask it again with today's data, for example the weekly stakeholder summary. The list is kept in your browser, per user.
Cost and limits
Each question uses one AI action from your plan, including a question asked again from the history. Asking is available to project managers and admins, because it spends the workspace's AI actions. Questions are limited to 500 characters.
